Following its opening in April of 2019, TABI-MONAKA has become a popular Fukuoka souvenir. Formed as a stick with 3 kinds of sweet bean paste filling, this treat is easy to eat on the go. One of their three unique varieties is tsubu-an, a crispy wafer filled with crushed paste boasting the rich aroma of carefully simmered red beans from Hokkaido. Another is the refreshing lemon mint, featuring the accent of minced spearmint leaves. Roasted almonds have been added to cocoa for a fragrant third flavor, mocha. They are sold in a box set of 6, with 2 of each type.
