About the Facilities
AED is short for Automated External Defibrillator, a medical device used to treat sudden cardiac arrest by sending electric shocks to the heart to try to restore a normal rhythm.
The AEDs at Fukuoka Airport will provide step-by-step voice guidance on how to use the device (including CPR instructions on chest compressions and artificial breathing).
The AED is placed in conformity withthe icons on each floor map.
