Fukuoka Airport held the "Fukuoka Airport Instagram Photo Contest 2023" for approximately one month from January 23rd to February 19th, 2023.

This time, we will be asking people to tell us what makes Fukuoka Airport so great, and we will be asking them to tell us what they think is the best thing about Fukuoka Airport, as well as places and things like that.
We asked for submissions that consisted of one photograph, a title, and, if possible, a message, and we received 107 works.

The theme this time was "What are the attractions of Fukuoka Airport?"
By far the most common reason given was "proximity" to the airport and planes.
Fukuoka Airport is very close to the city center and has the observation deck that is said to be the closest to an airplane in Japan.
This may seem like a natural result, but it was clear to see that such physical closeness also brings people closer together, and closer together in their hearts.
Looking up, you see airplanes in the sky, and if you look down a little, you see the familiar cityscape...
Many people felt that airports and airplanes were a part of their everyday lives.
I felt that this closeness creates a sense of familiarity and leads to joy and healing for those who visit every day.
The skies of Fukuoka connect to the world. Fukuoka Airport is our platform that allows you to experience this.
Today too, it lights the flames of hope, pride and hope in the hearts of those who visit.
