Regarding the expansion and renovation work of the Fukuoka Airport Domestic Terminal Complex

At Fukuoka Airport, construction will begin in April 2025 on an 11-story complex that will house commercial facilities, a hotel, and a bus terminal, integrated with the domestic terminal building.
With the construction of this new complex, together with the current domestic terminal building, the area before Security Check Point can be used by passengers not boarding a flight will have approximately 270 stores, making it one of the largest in Japan's airports.
Based on the concept of a "traveling airport," the aim is to create a one-of-a-kind commercial facility where customers can travel both locally (Fukuoka and Kyushu) and globally (Asia) in the emotional (extraordinary) space that only an airport can offer.
