SKYTRAX "COVID-19 AIRPORT SAFETY RATING"5-Star Certificate

• Fukuoka International Airport Co.,Ltd., Ltd. has been awarded the world's highest level of five stars in the COVID-19 Airport Safety Rating, an audit of airports' response to the COVID-19 pandemic conducted by British research company SKYTRAX.
  Haneda Airport in Japan has already received a 5-star rating, making Fukuoka Airport the second airport in Japan and the first in western Japan to receive this rating.
• The audit evaluates over 175 items related to infection control measures, including the hygiene of counters, shops, and facilities within the airport, ensuring social distancing, and the standards for air conditioning and cleaning within the building to maintain a hygienic and clean environment.
  The audit began in August​ ​2020. Currently, over 70 airports around the world have undergone this audit, of which 23 have achieved a 5-star rating.
